Kosovar Occupational Safety and Health Association for the needs of the project “Increasing capacities and strengthening the role of regional CSOs for improving labour conditions and labour dialogue with Public institution”, project funded by European Commission, announce vacancy for work position Project Officer.
Overall objective is enabling environment for dialogue between regional CSOs and public institutions for improving labour conditions.
The position and responsibilities
Main responsibilities of the Project Officer are, but not limit, as follows:
Complete coordination, planning and organization of the project activities
Provide support as requested in the organization of public events, workshops and any other
Cooperation and communication with the coordinator of the project
Providing a connection between the project team and the stakeholders
Ensuring a timely and efficient implementation of the project’s activities in accordance with the work plan
Preparing and submitting the required project documentation and reports to the Project Manager, such as monthly, quarterly and final reports
Monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the overall progress of the project implementation.
Required Skills and Experiences:
• University degree
• Excellent management and coordination skills, ability to work under pressure, manage a high workload and meet tight deadlines
• Active knowledge of English
• Full computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications

om 14th to 17th of May 2015 in Miramar hotel, Obzor the first of a kind conference in Bulgaria on occupational safety and health, organized by the Foundation for Safety and Health at Work, Bulgaria was conducted.
The participants were OSH experts from over 100 enterprises in Bulgaria, as well as representatives of international institutions and organizations from 25 different countries.
During the ceremony of the closing the International Conference was signed the Official Memorandum of Understanding for the BALCanOSHnet with a coordinating body the Macedonian Occupational Safety and Health Association (MOSHA).
In his appeal to the present audience who became witness of this historical moment Mr. Milan Petkovski expressed his hopes for a successful collaboration between the different organizations, participating in the network with the words: “I do have great hopes for the future of this network and I do hope that it will help us exchange ideas, to learn more about the field of occupational safety and health. And at the end I believe that it will help us become more and more professional.”
Right after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding of the BALCanOSHnet, there was signed another Memorandum of Understanding between Mr. Milan Petkovski in his capacity of a coordinator of the Balkan Network, and Ms. Ulrike Bollmann - Founder and coordinator of ENETOSH. This laid the beginning of an impending partnership between the two networks.
At the end, after the presentations of the Balkan countries (Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro), with so many pleasant emotions and satisfaction of what the people had learned, the exchange of experience and the found solutions, the International OSH Conference was closed.
